The Marriage You Want w/ Dr. Keith & Sheila Wray Gregoire - Ep. 143

Hello and happy spring, Brave Marriage Podcast listeners! I hope you all are doing well, wherever you find yourself today. I am personally thankful for brighter days, warmer weather, and the chance to share this interview with Dr. Keith and Sheila Wray Gregoire on their latest book, called The Marriage You Want. You all know I appreciate their evidence-based data and the work they do to help couples shift from unhealthy religious teachings and ways of relating, to healthier ones.

If you’re unfamiliar with their work, Sheila is the face behind BareMarriage.com and the author of nine books. Her husband, Keith, is a physician in Ontario, Canada, and coauthor with Sheila on two books. Together, they are passionate about changing the evangelical conversation about sex and marriage to make it healthy, evidence-based, and biblical. And if you’ve enjoyed their books before, I think you’ll enjoy this one, too, which releases tomorrow.

Because of my desire to support the good and faithful work of others as their resources come available, I’ll be dropping just a few episodes this spring and summer, here and there, to continue to point you toward resources written from an egalitarian perspective—one that supports men and women, husbands and wives, and ultimately points Christian couples, navigating life in the 21st century, toward spiritual freedom, developmental maturity, and mutuality in marriage, through Christ.

First up this spring, a conversation with Keith and Sheila Wray Gregoire.
