When you understand family systems theory and differentiation of self, you can become an agent of change in your own life. You can learn to think differently, see differently, act differently. You can learn how to take responsibility for yourself, staying engaged or setting boundaries with others as needed.

My Approach

bowen coaching for christian women

Kensi T. Duszynski, MA, LMFT, CPC

As a clinically-trained coach, I’ll work with you to lean into different decisions and better choices, improve your sense of self, and relate to others with inner strength.

I’ve worked with professionals, pastors, entrepreneurs, singles and working parents. From balancing work-life relationships, to business-building and people-leading, to holding onto one’s values in the face in conflicts and constraints, I have a more than a decade of knowledge, education, training, and experience to assist you where you are.

Of course, your situation, circumstances, and story are unique to you. But at the end of the day, we’re all prone to a similar set of emotional obstacles, cognitive distortions, behavioral feedback loops, and relational patterns that keep us stuck; that is, until we learn to see ourselves as part of the systems, and therefore, part of the solutions, we most struggle with and desire to change.

I care about your wellbeing and how it’s impacting your current actions, inactions, and relationships; I’m just as curious as you are to see what you can figure out for yourself - with a little bit of support.

Through my work with Kensi, I learned that the truth can set you free and that authenticity can change everything. I also found the homework and challenges very helpful.

Through our work together, you will learn to:

  • make more clear-headed choices at home, at work, and in the world.

  • steward yourself, your gifts, and strengths in wiser, healthier ways.

  • make small shifts over time to positively impact your relational contexts.

  • lead, love, and do life with others from a place of honesty, authenticity, and integrity.

In the face of stressful situations and difficult relationships, these developmental tasks are paramount for accessing peace, joy, and inner strength.

I am a much healthier person now. I learned how to control my anxious thoughts and talk myself down from overthinking. I am grateful nonjudgmental approach to listening and helping me sift through my struggles. I definitely think working with you was a gift from God.

“The best way to change a relationship is to change yourself.”

Before, it felt like my husband and I were on an emotional rollercoaster that we could not seem to overcome. Now, I am able to calmly respond to my husband and encourage him, while also setting boundaries for myself using certain steps and methods of relaxation and intentional thinking. I really enjoyed being able to talk to an objective person that could also give solid Christian counsel.
