ON A PERSONAL NOTE…

• Calling: I sensed a call to ministry in middle school, marriage counseling in college, and education for the church in seminary.

• Ideals: I wish everyone had a trustworthy person with whom to explore their early formation and potential for growth. I wish every couple had the opportunity to experience authentic connection, intimacy, and mutual empowerment in marriage. I would love to see the body of Christ functioning and flourishing with biblical equality among men and women.

• Accountability: For over a decade, I’ve met with a group of older, wiser colleagues for consultation, confession, and prayer. Throughout my career, I’ve engaged my own formational healing and differentiation work through the support of counselors, coaches, and spiritual directors.

• Spiritual Practices: Silence, Solitude, and Prayer Journaling. As a spiritual practice, I place boundaries around my time and work to steward my energy and resources and energy well.

• What Sounds Fun: Creative writing, being in nature, country drives, coffee dates, walks-and-talks, sister weekends, investing with my women’s stock club.

• Family: My husband and I have been married since 2012. Together, we enjoy walking and talking, hiking and birding, and spending time with friends and family, especially our nieces and nephews.
